Hi I took early retirement 2 and a half years ago and have been living off a foreign pension and a fair wack of DIRT interest, last year I had to do a self employed tax return because I was out of the PAYE system and the income was subject to a health levi but not PRSI.
Its possible that I might re enter the PAYE system shortly and wondered if my pension and DIRT interest would still remain free of PRSI ? Reason I ask is because I have seen some comments that indicate that a return to paid employment may mean that I lose the PRSI exemption from my non worked income can anyone give me some advice on what best to do?
