Re- qualifying JB Welfare

Hi
I'm a student and I have been awarded JB for 9 months due to expire around February 2010.
I'm going to Canada beginning of October this year for 6-9 months so I will be signing off around then and wont be claiming the full allowable days. If I dont get work when I come back to Ireland am I entitled to Jobseekers Benefit again?
 
if you come back within 6 months you should be able to link your UB claim and continue getting paid.
