Not sure about radio fences but my father used a standard electric fence, set at approiate height, think he even doubled it over ie had it at 2 heights and once the dogs had a few shocks they stay well clear even though it was only turned on for the 1st week.....its now about 2 years later..... that said the dogs are both big young strong dogs so could probably take a shock better than small/old/fraile.....
