Radio - above kitchen wall units

Hi all,

Looking to find some sort of radio maybe with speakers and a remote control so as to free up space in my kitchen with my old radio. Plan to put it above wall units on ledge.

can anyone give me some ideas where I could purchase, and a rough idea of price.

I guess most kinds of remote controlled radios would fit above your kitchen cabinets, but you can get pretty cool ones that fit below your units and are partially hidden by the light pelmet. afaik lidl or aldi had them for sale earlier in the year, so probably will be available again later on

any of the Panelling Centres or Eurosales in ringsend , Noyeks in finglas. they cost approx €80 - €100

I suppose what I am looking for is a mini/micro hi fi system , although I have to say I don't even know the difference between those two!

Mini systems generally incorporate a CD player and a faclity to connect an MP3 player. If you're going to store the facility out of reach you won't have the ability to use these facilities, despite having paid for them.
