R/A cheque not sent

I WOULD USUALLY GET MY R/A CHEQUE PUT INTO MY BANK ACCOUNT ON THE 24TH OF THE MONTH AND NOTICED That this afternoon it still hasnt been put in.Could this be because of the bank holiday weekend ? a little worried now since i have to pay rent by friday.

The address above has nothing to do with Rent Supplement which is what the OP is in receipt of. Rent Allowance is a different scheme paid to persons affected by de-control of rents back in 1982. Confusingly, Rent Supplement is colloqually known as Rent Allowance.

If you're being paid Rent Supplement every calendar month, it's paid out during the last week of the month, not on a specific date. From the date mentioned in your post (Fri 24th), I am surmising you are paid on the last Friday of each calendar month, which for October is Friday 31st.

sorted,was paid august 25,sep 24 and today.swo told me it was suppose to go in monday but didnt because of bank holiday.he said its usually last monday of the month.
