We got a handyman around last week to quote us for some jobs that need doing in our house. We have used him before and he is good but I just want to see if others think this is reasonable.
To re-plaster (maybe just skim) around two doorframes where the original plaster has cracked.
To bond and put up some plasterboard in a large press under the stairs which is currently unusable.
To put up plasterboard and put up another shelf in our hotpress (which is in a desperate state)
To plaster a small wall in our garden (about 14ft long x 2ft high)
(sorry for the sketchy details, DIY is not my strong point!)
He said it will take him about 4-5 nights to do all of the above and has quoted about 450-500 for labour. Another 50 or so for materials, as we already have some stuff at home.
