Quick Time clips to movie

I have a digital video camera that uses an SD card not a tape to record. As such, it record clips and does not flow continuously like a tape.

I am trying to put the video clips onto a DVD in a movie format. Does anyone know how to do it or what software etc I need to do it. Only just have the camera but no instructions on how to do this!
