Question on Mortgage Interest Relief

I have drawn down 40K of a 399K mortgage, the repayments are currently approx 180 a month.

Question 1:
Am I entitled to Mortgage Interest relief on the 40K repayments or do I have to wait until the mortgage is fully drawn down?

Question 2:
If I am entitled to it how do I apply for Mortgage Interest relief ?

Yes - as far as I know. Obviously as long as the mortgage is used to build, purchase, renovate your PPR.
