question about offsetting self employed loss against PAYE in different years

hi,

i have been self employed for over a decade and last year made a loss.

this year to supplement poor income i have taken a part time PAYE job.

I know that you can offset s/e loss against PAYE in the SAME year, but wondered if there was anyway i could offset last years s/e loss against this years PAYE.

i know i could offset last years loss against this years self employed income, but i will earn more from the PAYE this year so would like to know whether its possible and how.
