Question about misc deds on pay!!

I am totally confused when it comes to tax so looking for help!

I work in sales, I get paid my hours and then the commission on top of this so the amount constantly varies. I get paid fortnightly, two weeks ago I was paid for my hours only. Work "forgot" to pay me my commission. I chased it up and got a cheque for 757 a few days later.

Last friday I was paid and was taxed 871.73 which is fine. But in misc deds there is an amount deducted for 815.94, I questioned payroll on this amount and they said the misc deds were for the levy and the 757 which I had been paid by cheque. Surely this is not right, how can they pay me my bonus and then take it all in the next pay in full under misc deds!!

Please please help! It means I had 1687 taken off my in tax in one day!!!
 
I can't throw any light on the levies but if the 757 had not been deducted from your payroll run you would have been paid it twice, once by the original cheque and then through the payroll run.
 
If you got paid your commision twice, once by cheque and once in your salary, then payroll were correct to deduct it

If you didn't they weren't and you should go back to them and query it
