Hi,

I claimed back my rent and health expenses with revenue online for 2009, 2010 and 2011. I got back some money for 2009 but I ended up owing revenue a fair amount of money for 2010 and 2011. Revenue sent me back a P21 for each year. I'm just wondering if there may have been a mistake and if I should send them my P60 or if that is of no use now they sent me a P21?

Thanks a mill!

When making a end of year tax return, you are asked for the amount of income as per your P60. Was this incorrect when you did the return ?
If the amount you entered was not the same as your P60, you should correct this, in case it was a mistake.

Thanks for the reply. I wasn't asked for any information from my P60. I just went on revenueonline and filled it in there. I'll double check the figures!

Hi all - on this subject I requested 3 years to be balanced- one was correct, one year I was owed money and in the last I owed money. Re the last incident, there were no instructions in the letter received about when I have to pay the underpayment back - does anyone know if it will just be taken from my tax on my next payday...this would not be good!

When you do an end of year tax return online, you are asked what your annual taxable income is ?
What did you put in, or was the figure from your P60 already there ?

In the balancing statement that you have, is the income the same as your P60 ?
