q re radiator pipes

I am building a house at the moment and have had lot of advice (some wanted, some not) from my dad. Anyway his latest bee in his bonnet is in relation to hanging radiators...He is telling me to make sure that the plumber brings the pipes from the wall for the radiators rather than the floor!!! The house I am building is a block house and not partion wall.Is he talking rubbish or should the pipes come from the wall instead of the floor???

I suggest that you suggest that he chases out the wall to accomodate the pipes plus lagging. Or that he pay the plumber the extra. You could hint that it will be you that will be looking at them for the duration.
