Putting down timber flooring

Hi,

Can anyone recommend someone for putting down timber flooring?
The shop where we bought the flooring said they would put it down within a week of ordering, but when we placed the order they said 3 weeks as fitters etc were on holidays.
We want to move into the house around Sept 2nd, and therefore want all floors in place.

If you know of anyone who does a good job with laying Solid Oak timber flooring, please post here.

I bought floors separately (semi-solid oak), and got the guys in Carpet Express in Artane to do the fitting.

An excellent service. They came when they said they would, and had the job done in an afternoon (30sq yards).

Quality of the work can't be faulted. Overall, very happy. They did the work for €15/sq yard. Can't comment on price comparison because I was getting them for carpets as well, but was definitely happy to pay that money given service.

I have nothing to do with Carpet Express - I just think that good service should be applauded.
