I found an old cheque book with 50 blank cheques (£) I believe that I can get a refund on the gov levy but how much is it ?

€0.08 each assuming that the pre January 2003 rate of cheque stamp duty applied when they were issued. Your bank should refund the stamp duty when you return the cheques (assuming that they are still accepting them at this stage?). Don't spend it all in the one place!
