Public Sector Job Panel

I got 17th and 10th on two public sector job panels. The first one I didn't want, the second one I am very interested in. However, on the first panel, 45 jobs have been offered and I have not been called. On the second panel - the jobs I want - and am 10th on Panel - they have offered 16 jobs and I have not been offered one. Any ideas what I can do? Thanks.

Elaine, the public sector is large and diverse often with different HR policies and recruitment practices.

Perhaps you mean the public service or even the civil service?

In any case you will need to be more explicit about which organisation(s) and occupation(s) you are dealing with.

It is the health service.

If you are defnite that you were on the panels for the jobs that are being filled I would phone and query it with them - do it fast as they may be further emabrgos on jobs there after budget!!
