Hi, my daughter, 24, has lockjaw. She has had problems for years with her jaw. The last time she went to her GP, she was told to go to a dentist, who told her to see an orthodontist/facial pain specialist. It cost me 100 euros just to get to get to this point. And I spent 100s after that on appointments etc. she had a locked jaw yesterday and I feel it's time to see someone again, but I don't have a medical card or private health insurance. Can she be seen for this condition through the public health system? Does public health cover orthodontic treatment? Thanks.
