PTSB Children's Safari Saver Account - Joint Account for Parents?

We have a PTSB Children's Safari Saver Account for our 2 year old. My understanding is it is in my wife's name with my sons name just noted as he is under 7.

The account just acts as a holding place for Child Benefit prior to investing. It's not clear if I can also add my name. Does anyone know? It seems reasonable that a couple would have a joint saving for a child.

I hadn't really thought about it to date but can we have a joint investment account funded by this account if only in one persons name or does the investment need to just be in my wife's name?

Why do you seem unsure on this?

Can't see anything on the PTSB site to clarify. You'll probably have to ask them.

I don’t have all the docs to hand but it’s my wife’s understanding about the PTSB account.

I suppose I will give them a call on Monday.

Maybe it’s not an issue at all and I have over thought it. Was just filling in forms and it came down to who was funding it and was only then I realised it would just be my wife if I’m not on the Childs account.

Might be simpler if we just pay Child Benefit into our joint account like we do our pay.
