Psychometric Testing

Already had a quick look and will have a look over the weekend. Was told these ones would be numbers and involve writing letters, so just wondering if anyone else has been for interview where these are involved. Was told it would be the last part of the process. Have never been for interviews where these are involved and just wondering what to expect.

Took one recently. They can vary in difficulty in my opinion.
This one had basic numerical reasoning (google that phrase for examples).
A test on your command of the written language.
Abstract Reasoning, this is where you look at shapes and choose the odd one out, or next shape. can be tricky sometimes depending on your ability.

The final step is to analyse your personality. Are you a team worker, introvert/extrovert? How do you react under stress etc. Answer them truthfully as they are designed to catch you out if you attempt to fit it to the job description.

After you've sat it, ask for a copy. It makes for interesting reading and you're entitled to the results.

Thanks for that. Was told this does not have the personality element, but would be numerical and command of written language.

Reminds me of when I used to do "Drumcondra Tests" in sixth class. Multi choice type stuff.

Will do some searches on these.

Thanks.

Did you pass? Did you get a house, a "dig-out"? Did they have a "whip-around"? Any racing tips? Will we see you on the telly, newspapers, The Phoenix? Will there be another tribunal? ;)
