I took a look at that earlier and found it a very grey area, it be more in counselling area these sessions and IT6 looks to be more hands on treatment in this area
It's going back a few years. I don't think I submitted the letter. I wrote on the form that it was a gp referral from what I recall. You don't have to sent in your receipts just have them available if they audit you.
I have a client who was referred by GP to a psychoptherapist who was a registered practitioner and even having produced the referral letter to revenue when audited, it was disallowed. We are appealing it now.
I wont even go into the reasons why i think this is so wrong and that mental health is just not taken seriously in this country.
