PRTB Registration question re: claiming relief on mortgage interest

Submitting a Tax Return for Rental Income. Property is jointly owned (joint mortgage) and is registered with the PRTB in my name. (landlord). Do I need to update the PRTB with details of the other owner's name (add an additional landlord) or will he also be entitled to relief on the mortgage interest anyway, given that the property is registered with the PRTB (albeit in my name)???
 
Just to be sure, I would probably update the PRTB information to include the co-owner. It shouldn't cost you anyting.
