PRSI query for an employer

Hi,

I hope this is posted in the correct forum.

I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on the follwoing question:

In addition to the different weekly bands for Class A PRSI, there is also the question of earnings under and over €75,036.

Do the "Over €75,036" rates kick in only when the gross cumulative salary is above the €75,036?

No. It is worked out on same frequency as payment dates (e.g. weekly, monthly etc.) €75,036 per year, €1,443 per week, €2,886 per fortnight & €6,253 per month
