Does anyone know if the Property Price Register would show houses that just transferred in ownership? For example, say a house belonged to a parent and they just transferred it into the childs name (i.e. no money changing hands).

I'm guessing it does not show this type of information, and it only shows actual sales. I don't see properties on the register with zero sale value.

Where would the information on transfer of ownership be available for a private property? Or is it even publicly available?
 
Rather than set up a new thread, I'd be grateful if someone could answer a similar query.

What is the source of the Property Price Register number? For example, if a father sells an asset to his son for market value less the value of a life tenancy for himself, what number goes on the Register?
