Problem with USB memory stick -please help !

One of the kids (honest !) closed the door of computer desk while my memory stick was still in the USB port on the front of my desktop pc, bending it over a bit. Anyway, PC wont read it now and I have alot of important files on it which I really could do with accessing. The light flashes on the stick alright when connected but the PC will not read it giving me an error type message.
I left in to a PC repair shop but without success. They said if you could access the memory chip somehow (?) there might be a chance but they did not have the necessary equipment. Any suggestions please.

I have sent a few enquiries to those sites to get a quote - will be interesting.
Clubman - I am aware of the Google search engine :rolleyes: but wanted to hear from other members regarding data recovery and recommended irish companies.
 
Jaysus Clubman what is it with you ?
You must be the only person on here that would give google as a reply to a post. Thankfully Petermack doesn't have the same attitude !
