Problem accessing hotmail

Hi

For the last week and a half I've been having problems getting into my hotmail account. It was perfectly fine before and I'm not having problems getting into any other webpages. I have a Mac computer, don't know if that would make a difference. The error message I'm getting is

"Windows Live ID is unavailable from this site for one of the following reasons:
This site may be experiencing a problem.
The site may not be a member of Windows Live ID.
You can:

You can sign in or sign up at other Windows Live ID sites and services, or try again later at this site."

Any idea why this might be happening?

Hi,

had the exact same problems myself, i have a mac too. i think it a microsoft issue. anyway i did a bit of research on the apple support website and came accross the following page

bookmark this page as i did - read through the posts on it it should sound familiar, about halfway down the page a poster has put up a link which will let you access hotmail. it's the only way i can do it, don't know if a more permanent solution can be found.

Thanks for that who ru. Odd isn't it? I have been accessing my hotmail by allowing the error message to appear then I go into signing up to hotmail and it bumps me into my page - don't know why that works but it does.

I'll check out that discussion though, thanks.
