Prince2 Project Management

I'm planning to do a five day instructor led course in Prince2 Project Management which includes the Foundation and Practioner examinations.

Has anyone else done this five day course? I would appreciate some feedback on the intensity of doing both examinations over five days etc. I come from an IT background of 20+ years, but, want to formalise my experience after taking voluntary redundancy a while ago.

Is it possible to get tax-relief when I submit my Form12 at the end of the year for this type of course? FÁS grants appear to be only obtainable through employers.

I did the foundation course before, it makes me yawn just thinking about it. The exam was multiple choice and everybody in the class passed. I worked in IT for a while afterwards and put about 10% into practice (i.e. the valid 10%). The best thing about PRINCE is that when you are looking for contract work you will easily get work if you have PRINCE or PMI (best to have both).
