Hi, am looking at a house to buy which i plan to fully gut myself, have done similar before. I need to calculate budget for an electrician, anybody have any ideas on the price of wiring the house, it is a large 4 bed over 3 floors, i'll have all walls studded so there will be no chasing etc. I'll have over 120 points, ie double sockets,spot lights, phone and TV points,

We had our house done last year, 4 bed, no chasing was required as it was a full rennovation. Cost us about 9,500e including materials. Don't know how many points but also included 2 devi mats for bathrooms
 
Electrician tends to price at €1,450 for fuse board and between €50-€70 for each item after that points plugs lights smoke detectors and so on, and a further €450 for heating controls.
