Out of necessity, I'm selling a house I bought less than a year ago, (took occupation just last summer) having sold my former PPR a year previous to that.
My current house is worth a lot more but will I be able to use PPR relief again for sale of the current one, or is there some time limit on selling two PPRs in quick succession? Many thanks.

No. If the property was genuinely your PPR then you can claim PPR relief.
Not that it matters bit has it actually appreciated much in less than a year?

Thank you, yes it was indeed my genuine PPR as we needed to rent in between selling old home while waiting to move into this one. Re value, I meant that the new one would be worth a lot more than the previous one sold though yes, new one has already appeciated significantly according to the EA but same applies for me trying to buy another.

As a matter of interest, if revenue are likely to query due to the short time frame, what kind of proof would be required, bank statements, address details, interim rental payments etc - I have all the documents to hand if needs be.

I wouldn't worry about them querying it but if you want to be prepared for that possibility then the sort of stuff that you mention that proves that you lived there should be sufficient.
