Having received helpful comments regarding directions to the national stud, i wonder does anyone know how to reach powerscourt by public transportation? dart to bray or bus? does a bus travel to it? many thanks.

You can get a 44 from City center (around Hawkins street via Ranelagh, Dundrum) to Enniskerry. You'll have to walk from there though. Its a nice walk and the gardens are about 1/2 mile from Enniskerry. I think you r3efer to around the waterfall which is about four miles away though.
