Postgraduate Diploma in Education - BTEA, grant, info?

Hi - have been looking at this course in NUIG and was wondering if anyone knows if this is covered by the BTEA or some other type of grant ? if BTEA, if on JSB/JSA for over a year would that meet criteria?

Also - any idea what BTEA covers - course fees, books, childcare, travel??

Also, has anyone completed this course ? Is there an interview or just based on points? If anyone has any feedback regarding the course itself I'd really appreciate it.
 
Great, thanks for the pointer. From the link it indicates that the following postgrad qualification would be included in BTEA
postgraduate Diploma in Education (Primary or Secondary teaching).

and that a standard weekly payment is made as part of BTEA.

Are the costs of the course (fees, registration etc) covered?
It also indicates that a once off grant of 500 euro towards cost of eduction is included. Does anyone know if there's travel allowance, childcare allowance etc?

Any additional info would be appreciated! Thanks
 
There are no grants through BTEA for fees, childcare, etc, just the once-off grant and the weekly payment as stated.

There may be other grants which you could apply for through the college or local authorities (I'm sure someone else around here will have more info on this).
