Portable Navigation System

Hi there,

just checking if anybody has had any experience with such a device? Looking to purchase one for trips (mainly in Europe) to help ease the pain of getting lost while on trips abroad. I recall Aldi/Lidi selling one of these recently, any opinions on that device?

I have no idea about these. But I read an article somewhere recently which mentioned that they could be hired at www.satnavhire.ie This would work out expensive though if you were taking a couple of weeks hols. They are not apparently Ireland-user friendly yet.
