He tried googling aj ....

..... have drawn a blank googling from either Ireland or the UK.

What about calling into your local garden centre and asking them where they sourced their polythene?

My local garden centre recently got its tunnels recovered so it should be easy to track down some via that route.

Looked at this thread and remembered that I needed a replacement cover for my walk in greenhouse..

On Amazon and found this for the OP [broken link removed]

Try Decker horticulture, cant't post links yet
they are based in Meath I think, we used to buy off them a few years ago when i was in the horticulture business.

Also carleys bridge potteries

Both of these companies supply polythene for tunnels of all sizes and deliver. Well they did when we did buisness with them

Thanks for the responses all.
Ajapale I will look later if there was anything in your google, I could not find anything when Il looked myself last week for a link direct to the manufacturers.
Paddy my local garden centre sells the Poly tunnel polythene so dont think he would be willing to divulge where he got his, but you have given me the idea of trying the local horticultural training centre where they have a number of poly tunnels.
Berberis I will try those places in the morning thanks, will post how I get on.
Ronan I would say they may indeed do for a green house but would imagine that they would only last a season as they are not UV resistant, the kind I am looking for is 800 gauge that is supposedly five layered and anti fog or anti drip.
Thanks again everyone, any more ideas gratefully received.
I am also looking for galvanised poles, the ones they had in Heiton Buckleys seem to thick a steel, I am looking for around an inch and a half diamater that I can take to a guy I have found who can bend them to shape. I want to buy good quality but not so heavy a steel that they can not be shaped and are to heavy to handle but on the other hand not so thin they are not fit for purpose.
