A friend of mine is trying to get pine doors for their kitchen cupboards. Carcass is already fitted by a local carpenter. He isn't having any luck sourcing pine doors either. Seemingly they are really out of fashion at the moment but that is what she wants! One place told her they haven't had a request for pine doors in 10 years! Anyone any ideas? thanks.

i had a some doors made to order by egan furniture in leitrim he makes them in any size and any type of timber . i am a carpenter and used him in the past but it depends on where you are .( I have no conection with him)

The likes of Woodies and B&Q do them. In Woodies on the Naas Road they're next to the Burbridge radiator covers and that type stuff and in B&Q I've seen them in the door section - can't remember whether it was the one in Liffey Valley or in Tallaght, but it's where the sliding patio doors etc are, on the right hand side, (I think it's the Tallaght one) they're never in the kitchen department. They're the right size for kitchen cabinets.

Just had a quick look on the B&Q webpage - see here [broken link removed] they come in all shapes and sizes
