Phone calendar error

I got a nokia 6120 for christmas and after a fews weeks of wondering why the date was always wrong on it I realised that it was giving me two fridays in a row. So on saturday it would still say friday for the second time and then sunday it would say saturday, until I corrected it! and then again it, when friday would come along, it would stay friday for another 48 hours again.

Anyone come across this before, is it just a technical fault? Suppose it just means bringing the phone back and getting a new one
 
Most likely just a software fault. Depending on where you bought it they may decide to just put more up-to-date software on it rather than exchanging it.

The software upgrade is fairly straight-forward but be aware you will lose any data saved to the handset so make sure your phonebook etc is saved to your sim card.

Happened to me once with the 6120. I only noticed on a Monday morning when my alarm didn't go off. I'm thinking of getting a different phone as this one tends to heat up and burn my ear on long calls.
