I see that UCD's Adult Education Programme has the following course:

It will examine areas of personal finance in order to equip students with the skills and knowledge to improve their personal finances. It will examine the measures that can be taken to put the students finances on a secure footing in the short, medium and long-term. No prior financial knowledge is required

Did anyone ever go on the "entrpreneurial boot camp" - 7 hrs in 1 day programme, promoted on startyourownbusiness.ie ????

sounds like something I might do at some stage - cost is similar to UCD I think. Timing is the issue - should I go now even though wouldnt plan fulltime self-employment for a while (or worse, mighnt ever do it), or wait and use it as a big "psych up" when start up.

Dont think UCD course would offer much extra to those reading this site, TAB guide, business pages, Family Finance etc.
