Can anyone recommend a local accountant (Dublin area) that is fluent in both US and Irish tax law?
Because of the surge of the euro over $1.30 my ajusted gross income will exceed the $80,000 foreign earned income exclusion for the first time. I would like to find a way to avoid as much double taxation as possible.
Don't know anyone locally, but I can personally recommend Sidney Kaufman of NYC. The guy's a total pro, can handle overseas clients, but won't be much help with your Irish tax affairs if you need that too. Contact details [broken link removed]
Sidney is pretty old school - doesn't really do email (although I haven't dealt with him for a few years, that might have changed). I'd advise you to ring personally.
