I’m wondering if anyone here has had issues with Pepper Advantage not applying overpayments or lump sums to their mortgage as instructed?
I’ve been overpaying monthly for nearly two years and recently paid lump sums, but apparently, these payments have been sitting in a suspense account instead of reducing my mortgage. Despite multiple emails and phone calls, nothing has been applied.
Also, my monthly repayments are about €110 higher than what I calculate they should be based on the outstanding balance, term, and interest rate. I pay mortgage protection insurance separately, so I’m unsure why this is happening.
One rep even told me weeks ago the payments had been applied, but a different rep just told me they can’t do anything until they get a written and signed request from me and my husband—which was never communicated before.
I’m about to send a formal complaint but wanted to check if others have had similar problems or found ways to get this sorted quickly. Any advice or shared experiences would be really helpful!
