Pension Transfer

I have an Irish Pension with Friends Provident and the fund has now dropped considerably. I now permanently live in France.

Can I transfer the total fund accumulated to a French Pension company and continue to pay the premiums to the French company ?

It is possible to transfer funds from Ireland to France, but only if the receiving scheme in France will accept the transfer and Irish Revenue agree to it. You should contact your French pension provider about the former and Friends First about the latter. Check with Friends First also if there are any penalties for leaving.
