paying employers for uniforms

i am currently paying €3.50 a week every week for my uniform it was initially part of my contract when i started five years ago. is there any way i can get out of paying this or pay for them out right
 
Would imagine you'd have to revise your contract with your employer, that'd be the only way to do it.
 
You should be entitled to tax relief on this though. Have you checked with revenue ?
 
they have broken my contract with a wage reduction without disccussion or re issuing a new contract does this now void the original contract ?
