Hi,

I work around europe in various countries including ireland. my employment contract is based in ireland and i pay PAYE here. Am i eligible to reclaim income tax for periods i work outside ireland on the assumption that i will pay the relevant income tax in the country where i work?

Any feedback welcomed.

If you are tax resident, ordinarily resident and domiciled in Ireland you will be liable to Irish tax on your worldwide income.

Depending on your residence status in each country you may also be liable to tax there. If you pay tax in two countires, you will get a tax credit in Ireland for the foregin tax paid.
