I am in full time employment, earning c. 70K per annum.
I have been offered some part time work with another co. for which I will receive c. 20K per annum.
If I will be registered as an employee of the second company presumably I will be paying PRSI of 4% on the full 20k even though I will have stopped paying PRSI of 4% at € 48,800 in the first job.
Are my assumptions here correct. If they are, is there anything I can do about it. Thanks.
Definitely, and heres one, when 2 lots of PRSI "A class weeks" go on record do you think :-
1) that Social Welfare would see this and say "oh, perhaps theres a refund due here, lets take a look and see if we can give this person money back and
2) that you get 2 lots of state benefits for the two lots of payments
