Hi guys, just looking for some advice,I can't seem to find anyway,I'm currently working a PAYE job, and am thinking of setting up another business(sole trader),while holding onto my PAYE employment.I just wondering how awkward this will make things regarding tax payments, credits ect. Any advice or info would be appreciated.

YOu will need to file a tax return that will include details of your sole trader income and your PAYE income. You will also need to start making payments of tax directly to the Revenue to cover your tax liability on your sole trade. The Revenue have some good leaflets on starting on self employment and this should be first port of call unless you want to hire an accountant.
