Hi, in 2007 myself and a colleague formed a company. In 2008 I got a Form11E and returned it filled. My entire income in 2007 was PAYE from my full time job and the company we formed did not trade at all. All good.
In September 2008 I was placed on a 3 day week and applied for Job Seekers benefit which I received and have been receiving since. The company did not trade in 2008 either.
I have filled my 2009 (for 2008) Form11E and have entered my 2008 PAYE (PRSI A1) income plus my 2008 Job Seekers payments.
My question is, am I entitled to Job Seekers benefit as a Proprietary Director of a company? (even though that company did not trade and I received zero income/profit from it)
Also, the company did start to trade in March 2009 but I still receive no income/profit from it. Am I still entitled to JS Benefit?
I am still in receipt of JS Benefit but just worried that I'm going to have to pay it all back
