partguard function of hkc alarm.

i've recently fitted a hkc alarm to my home, i was wondering how to set up the "partguard B" function on it, when i try to do it any of the zones marked as E/E (exit/entry) wont set the alarm off when zones are activated, any advise would be appreciated.
 
the entry exit zones might have a delay to allow you get out of the house. try waiting a few mins.
 
i've tried this, and it seem's only the buzzer on the keypad will go off.
are there any other settings which may need to be changed?
 
the code to set partguard is probably programmed, you may need to contact the people who installed it.
