I did this course many years ago when I was between jobs. I did it as a full time course. I found the course sharp and focussed and was extremely lucky to have wonderful tutors. Plenty of back up from IATI.
The week-end exam revision courses at UCD are very worthwhile as an added extra. I found the whole experience very beneficial
It's hard work to do at night but if you are prepared for that I'm sure you'll enjoy it
A lot will depend on your tutors. Do your research
Thank you for getting back to be, thanks for the feedback on IATI
I am working in financial role currently I'm not sure what the future holds so I'd like to get a course like this under my belt
Did you find the course beneficial to your career?
first of all i havent studied the iati course but i have worked with people that have and i have seen the benefits of it, also as black sheep said be prepared for some hard work as its very difficult exam but worth while in the end. on a second note you could try the ACCA certified accounting techincian exams etc as both are cathered for accounting techinicans and have excelant back up with the relevant institutes.
For me it was certainly beneficial. I really enjoyed the course and got what I wanted form it. I had hoped to continue in accounting with ACCA but circumstances changed that. I took the Payroll technicion course instead.
Others have different priorities and are very ambitious and climing that corporate ladder. I found a job I really enjoy and am good at what I do (even if I say so myself) and for me that was the most important thing
