We're just back from the Fortina Spa hotel in Malta flying from Birmingham. Great time.

They will be able to tell you if they do deals from Ireland.
Saw an advert in today's Daily Mail for Mercury Direct doing cheap deals to Malta. Depending on when you want to go it can be as cheap as £199 for 7 days half board in a 4 star hotel (January 2006). Cheap enough to warrant doing Ryanair to Birmingham then on to Malta.
We're not long back from the db Seabank Hotel, all inclusive in Mellieha, Malta. Great hotel, good food and drink. It's in the far north of the island, near the Gozo ferry but buses are great. Quiet area, nice beach.
Don't understand why I posted on a 10 year old thread!! Usually only access 'Recent Posts' at top of screen! Interestingly, Mercury Direct is still going and promoting that Hotel too!
Ah! 'Tis explained so! Since it's now re-awakened, Malta is a great place for a sunshine break. They drive on left, speak English and have very interesting history, walled cities and prehistoric temples etc.
