Hi,

heres the situation: The girlfriend has had 4 jobs last year -4 different hotels. She left no.3 hotel near december &started work in hotel no.4 (where she damaged back-out of work now). She never gave p45 to hotel no.4 . So she has no p60 from anywhere last year. I was planning to write the 4jobs in her tax return form,but im just not sure if that's right or is there another form so i can get her a p60? I know it's confusing.any help is appreciated.
 
if she was still employed by hotel No. 4 on 31 Dec then she can send the P45 or a copy to that hotel and ask that they send her a P60 for the year end.
 
hmm very interesting,might chance sending her employer no.4 a copy of p45 and see will they do p60. but if they don't ,any more ideas?
 
There's nothing hotel 4 can do with the p45 at this stage as it relates to last years tax year, they don't need a p45 to issue a p 60, just her pps number. Did she get a p45 from hotel 1,2 and 3, if not she should ask for them also.
 
When filling out the tax return, add up the income earned and PAYE tax deducted from hotel no. 4 (your girlfriend should have got P60 from them and they should have operated emergency tax if they didn't have P45) with income and tax deducted on P45 from hotel no. 3 (which I assume included accumulated income from hotels 1 and 2) and put that figure on return. Revenue should have details on record anyway if you don't have the P60 from hotel no. 4. Just get your girlfriend to give them a call.
