P60 requested by Revenue

.....in order to process a tax refund

Just wondering why we have to send them a copy, when it's issued by them (to us) in the first place so don't they have all the information on it, already on their system?

Just curious as it seems like needless administration..

Is it not your employer who issues the P60?

A P60 is issued by an employer not by Revenue.
