P21 panel 7b adjustment

Does anyone know what a panel b adjustment is on the p21 bal statement. Theres no breakdown or clue given! It increases tax owed.

My prev yr p21s are all finalised and i havent had any prior yr adjustments.

Iv raised a query with revenue but they can be slow to respond.

Can you recalculate your tax & compare to what was deducted? I had an issue this year when I reassigned tax credits between myself & husband and somehow we ended up underpaying. I didn't notice on our payslips, if I recalculate we did indeed underpay. They are very slow to come back !

Iv tried that but what i paid seems correct to me.iv logged a query with revenue and will try calling them soon.

Theres no breakdown or indication as to what the panel 7b adjustment relates to. Does anyone know what this would typically be?

It might be a prior year adj. They went back into mine for an underpayment in 2016 that was supposed to be on 2021 but got removed from my 2021 cert. They had made a mistake too on the calculation so I'd definitely follow it up.
