Owner Occupier Relief

Hi,

First of all, please excuse my ignorance on this matter

I purchased my first ever house in Leitrim in 2007 and have applied for O.O.R..
I am confused as to whether I will get anything. I was a PAYE employee at the time of purchase but was made redundant last year. If I haven't paid any tax, do I still get the yearly amount?

The reason I ask is that I know a few people in a housing development nearby. They all received the same annual amount (€3200 based on construction cost). But they may not of paid that amount in tax for the same period.

I hope the above makes sense and hope someone can clear my confuzzled head.

part 9 looks like it is lost.(not carry forward) looks more to do with income than tax paid. Take a read of link below and do computation for 2007/2008/2009/2010 projection
