Overpaying Mortgage on Investment Property

Hi,

I was wondering is this a good option, we have recently paid off mortgage on our PPR, and have additional surplus fund each month.

We are currently paying 3.7% variable with EBS, house value €190k, mortgage outstanding €170k, income €1,000 per month, 15 years outstanding on mortgage.

Our pension contributions are at the maximum levels. Is the overpayment here a good return taking into consideration that the interest is tax deductible and DIRT that would be paid on any interest on investments. We also have another investment property on a tracker mortgage that we would leave untouched. We have sufficient accessible/rainy day savings.
